Margaret Mary KILGALLEN

KILGALLEN Margaret Mary (nee Philbin) Of Downingtown, PA formerly of Havertown, PA passed away on March 27, 2024. She was 92 years old. She is the beloved wife of the late James P. Kilgallen and the loving mother of James (Peggy) Kilgallen, Maureen (Michael) Keeney, Theresa M. McPherson, and Kevin F. (Joanne) Kilgallen. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is the sister of the late Joseph Philbin, Mary Corr, and Frank Philbin. Margaret was born on April 12, 1931, in Philadelphia, PA to Michael and Bridget (nee Kelly) Philbin. She was an active member of the Irish of Havertown, along with her husband Jim. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 11 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. in the FUNERAL HOME OF JOHN STRETCH, 236 East Eagle Rd., Havertown, PA 19083 and to her Mass of Christian Burial following at 1 P.M. in St. Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Lane, Havertown, PA. The interment will take place in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, an offering in Mrs. Kilgallen's name to The St. Thomas More Alumni Association (STMAA), P. O. Box 294, Drexel Hill, PA 19026 would be gratefully appreciated.
