MATTHEW J., Nov. 6, 2012, 86, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Roxborough. Husband of the late Veronica (nee Varga), father of Donna Campbell (Timothy) and Robert Basara (Sherrie), brother of Stanley Basara (Claire), Mary McDevitt (William), Evelyn Douglas (Charles) and Joan Block (Ephram); also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to viewing Wednesday eve. 7 to 9 P.M. and Thursday 9 to 9:30 A.M. at THE KOLLER FUNERAL HOME, 6835 Ridge Ave. (cor. of Livezey), Phila., PA 19128, Funeral Mass Thursday 10 A.M. St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Int. Westminster Cem.

Uncle Metch…mastered the art of humor and levity to make others feel comfortable. Inspired others to seek and overcome challenges outside their comfort zone. Shared life experiences to help others remain optimistic in the face of adversity. Loved God, family and all of the people he found in life. Understands he will be missed, but knows that one day we will all be together again.
