Michael P. Harrington

Harrington Michael P. Age 61, passed away in his home surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. He was the loving husband of Colleen (McIntyre) Harrington. He was the devoted and proud father of his 3 daughters Meaghan, Shannon, and Mary. He was preceded in death by his parents, James "Fish" Harrington and Mary (Malloy) Harrington, as well as his brother, Jimmy, and his sister, Maryanne Selfridge. He is survived by his 2 sisters, Maureen (Richard) O'Donnell and Frances (Richard) Bruno, as well as his niece, Christine (Robert) Rose, who made him "Uncle Mike." He would go on to be known as "Uncle Mike" to many other nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many more family members, friends, and neighbors. Mike was a proud "Judge guy" from the class of 1979. He went on to work for Verizon for 30 years before he retired in 2009. Mike spent his retirement rooting for everything that he loved, his girls, his Philadelphia sports teams, and his fantasy football team. Mike had a few bad breaks with his health, but he, like Lou Gehrig, considered himself the luckiest man on the face of the earth. Relatives and Friends are invited to his Viewing on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 9:30 A.M. to 11:3 0 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19116.
