PETER MACK LEWIS

1951 - 2022

LEWIS PETER MACK June 11, 1951- August 30, 2022 Affectionately known as "Popeye" peacefully entered into eternal life on August 30, 2022. Born in Halifax County, Virginia, he was the son of the late John and Kate Lewis. He was a graduate of Halifax County High School and will be forever remembered for his generous spirit and passion for living. He spent his early years managing the family farm and later relocated to Philadelphia, where he worked as a Culinary-Extraordinaire until he retired. He is survived by his two devoted daughters, Iris Chaouachi and Felicia Williams, four grandchildren, four sisters and a host of other relatives whom he loved dearly. Peter was predeceased by his parents, one sister and eight brothers. At a later date a Memorial Service will be planned in Halifax, Virginia to celebrate his life.
