Billy was the coolest guy I have ever met. I had the pleasure of working for him on his yacht in the early 80's. I have a lot of great memories with Billy and Karen. My deepest sympathy for Billy's family.

Billy was a good friend of the Logano Family. We enjoyed spending time with Billy and his family. He was always so proud of his family. He was kind and generous towards everyone he came in contact with. He will be deeply missed.

Billy was one of the best friends the Ragan Family had in racing. He always kept things in proper perspective, but always with a sense of humor. He was literally a walking encyclopedia when the subject of Nascar came up. We will all miss Billy. Condolences to his family.

Billy, I never got a chance to tell you just how sweet it was to hear you call me your granddaughter, how blessed I feel to have known you, and how special you will always be to me... My 1st granddad went to heaven when I was a little girl. He was a gentle, loving man and I loved him very much. Knowing you was like finding something that I had lost years ago. Thank you for being a granddad to me. I wish that you could've stayed longer. Everyone misses you, but we'll see you when we get there.
PS. Thanks for believing in me, you gave me the courage to believe in myself.
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be.

Billy Watson is my "Uncle Billy". There were four of Morgan kids who all felt that Uncle Billy was a very special person. He was always so generous and patient with a bunch of really rambunctious kids. Billy gave us his attention and we felt we were with a loving man when he was near us. Our parents gave us all we needed to grow and be happy. Having Uncle Billy a mentor was just icing on our cakes. All who read here already know about Billy but I wonder if they would guess that the gathering of those who would praise him that is visible here is a small tip of a great number yet unseen.

My love and prayers to you Karen and sons, Norma, Deborah, David and grandchildren. Although you are sad and are grieving your loss, it is also a time for rejoicing. The Lord called and Billy responded - "Here I am Lord, send me." I know that he is there helping to prepare a place for us to be with our Lord and Savior forever. Billy was a strong individual and you as well as the rest of us, have been touched by his spirit for life and his endurance. Let these guide you through these trying days.
I will always have a memory of Billy - his infectious smile. Always smiling. I also have many memories of all of our childhoods which a big part was centered in and around the Hemphill Church of God, the Pickrick, Davis Bros. Cafeteria, the Campground and Aunt Lois' house on Atlantic drive. Those were loving and fun filled days. I am imaging that it will be like that again once we are all reunited in heaven one day soon.
Please, I pray for your faith to remain strong - I am praying for us all.
See you soon Billy! and tell all of our loved one with you to continue to pray us home.

May God's presence ease your trembling spirit and give you rest. He knows how you feel.
He is ever aware of your circumstances and ready to be your strength, your grace, and your peace.
He is there to cast sunlight into all of your darkened shadows, to send encouragement through the love of friends and family, and to replace your weariness with new hope.
God is your stronghold, and with Him as your guide, you need never be afraid. No circumstances can block His love. No grief is too hard for Him to bear. No task is too difficult for him to complete.
When what you are feeling is simply too deep for words and nothing anyone says or does can provide you with the relief you need, God understands.
He is your provider - today, tomorrow, and always. And He loves you.

They threw away the mold after Billy Watson came aboard Planet Earth. He was Buckhead before Buckhead was cool. A great entertainer and friend, To all his family and especially Debra who I know so well. My heart and prayer goes to you. I can see him now passing thru the pearly gate - greeting the other great characters of this city toasting a new chapter.

In Memory of Billy Watson. It is so hard for me to understand how such a Great Man, Strong Personality,Firm Believer,and such a strong Presents to be around is gone. Who will take his place.NO ONE? He quit school to become one of the Smartest People I have ever met. A Genius with DEAL'S, Restaurant and Bar's and everything he put his mind to he accomplished. Being Diabetic does not bother me, But to here the C word gives me cold chills. There are just to many Great People in this World affected by this Disease. There has got to be a CURE. When was the last time we had a cure for anything, I was in the 6th Grade it was for Polio. We can blame Drug Company's for no cures there is to much money being made on DRUGS. To Karen, Norma, Deborah, David, the children and grandchildren, please know that I love all of you and my prayers are with you. Billy, you are home; but we will miss you and, with God's grace...we will meet again. As always, when one of our loved ones is called home, memories come flooding back of all of those wonderful times at Hemphill Church of God and being together as a family when I was a young girl growing up. What an amazing sense of love and protection I felt surrounded by my earthly family and heavenly Father. Billy, you are there and what a wonderful day of rejoicing! I am including an excerpt of a poem I wrote for a loved one a few years ago. I was hurting and often find that if I write my feelings down on paper, it helps me understand and lessens the pain:
You were my soul, my heart's content
No secret could I keep
You felt my joy, my sadness
Our connection so very deep!
Than, a day came, much too fast
Your time on earth could not last
A moment in time, I saw your end
My heart breaking, loving friend.
Science could not heal you
You were in God's Hands
So I had to say goodbye
Long before I planned!
The tears pour down,
My soul despairs
Oh, God, why did you take him now?
But, no answer could be found.
Then, I knew, it came to me
God loves you as he loves me
No one knows the hour

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
