St. Helena Island, South Carolina - Bruce P. Fowler, 91, widower of Mary Irene Fowler, of St. Helena Island, SC, died Sunday, March 12, 2023 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 10:30am to 11:30am. at Anderson Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services will follow on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 12:00 noon in Beaufort National Cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Fowler was born on August 18, 1931 in Little River, SC. He is the son of Bruce P. Fowler and Blanchie Hewett Fowler.
Surviving is one son, Bruce W. Fowler (Maria Ferguson); one sister, Carolyn Holleman; Four granddaughters Marsha, Joanie, Jessica, and Jennifer; twelve great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Disabled Vets of America.
Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
