He was the husband of the late Joanne (Wormstead) LeBlanc with whom he shared over 30 years of marriage and predeceased him in 2015. Born in Lynn, in 1927, he was the son of the late Raymond and Lena (Cormier) LeBlanc. He was raised and educated in Lynn, attending St. Jean de Baptiste School, Cobbet Jr. High School and graduated from Lynn Classical High School in 1945. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving on the USS Missouri during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1948. Al worked many jobs throughout his lifetime. Family was everything to Al. He enjoyed traveling including many trips to Las Vegas and spending winters at his home in Naples, Florida. He was a lifelong and active member of the Franco-American Amvets, Post 161, where he helped organize many events including "Jail Day" the Special Needs Children's event. A loyal and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Al was always there to help anyone with anything and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
