Alejandro Chabolla "Chale" Herrera, 78, of Riverside passed away Friday, October 13, 2006.
Alejandro was born in El Monte, CA., on February 12, 1928. He lived in Brawley before moving to Riverside. He married the former Leonor Samano on July 16, 1948.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 22, from 5 to 8 pm at Garden of Prayer. Rosary at 6.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 23, at Olivewood Cemetery commencing at 11:30 a.m.
Alejandro was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Helen Yanz; brothers, Encarnacion Herrera and Rafael Serrano; sisters, Consuelo Escobar and Natalia Garcia; mother, Angelita Arriaga and septmother, Juana Chabolla.
Alejandro is survived by his loving wife, Leonor "Vera" Herrera of Riverside; sons Joe (Rosie), Arthur (Gloria), and Frank of Riverside; son, Alejandro Jr., of Colton; daughters, Stella (Angel) Guillen, Esther (Oscar) Trevino of all of Riverside, Susie (Abraham) of Moreno Valley; sister Augustina Cano of Fresno; sisters-in-law, Antonia Herrera of Brawley, Margarita Serrano of Kelseyville 45 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. .
