Carmen Elsa Romero Garcia, 67, of Calexico passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Carmen was born on October 7, 1953 in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. Carmen was a Caretaker to her beautiful and beloved son Danny. Carmen was preceded in death by mother, Trinidad Gutierrez Garcia; father, Manuel Romero; father, Bartolo Gutierrez and brother, Loreto "Tito" Romero. She is survived by daughter, Maria Trinidad "Mary" Martinez of El Centro, Ca; son, Jesse Martinez (Alejandra Sierra-Martinez) of Calexico, Ca; daughter, Latisha Isabel Jimenez Cervantes (Ramiro Cervantes) of San Diego, Ca.; son, Eduardo Garcia, Jr. of Calexixo, CA.; son, Daniel "Danny" Tereso Garcia of Calexico, Ca; granddaughter, Briana Rachelle Romero Orozco (Anthony Orozco) of Imperial, Ca.; grandson, Edgar Martinez of Calexico, Ca.; grandson, Daniel Steven Romero Jr. of Tucson, Az.; granddaughter, Samantha Nichole Romero Salazar (Edgar Salazar) of Calexico, Ca.; grandson, Jesse Martinez Jr. of Calexico, Ca.; grandson, Eduardo Manuel Romero of Tucson, Az.; granddaughter, Lailah Aizza Garcia of Phoenix, Az.; granddaughter, Julie Aleida Martinez of Calexico, Ca.; grandson, Alexandre Martinez of Calexico, Ca.; grandson, Nicolas Joel Cervantes of San Diego, Ca.; granddaughter, Leah Marie Garcia of Phoenix, Az.; granddaughter, Natalia Isabel Cervantes of San Diego, Ca.; grandson, Oliver Eduardo Garcia of Tucson, Az.; great-grandson, Jayceon Nehemiah Orozco; great-granddaughter, Zoey Gianna Salazar; great-grandson, Jonah Elijah Orozco; great-grandson, Maximus Jedidiah Salazar; great-granddaughter, Maya Carmen Salazar. Services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 with mass at 2:30 p.m. with Padre Jose officiating at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Calexico. Visitation will be held at 5 p.m., with rosary at 7 p.m. at Jardines Del Eden Funeral Home.
