1957 - 2024
Charlotte Leanne Levy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024, in Durango, CO. A native of the Imperial Valley, Charlotte retired in 2018 after 29 years with the IID. She and her husband, Danny moved to Cortez, CO, in 2022, where she enjoyed gardening, making jelly, and staying active in her church.
She is survived by her husband, Danny; son, Ira Hearen III (Laura); daughters, Rain Shelton (Mark) and Danielle Rocha (Johnny); grandchildren, Emma, Olivia and Levi Hearen, Taylor Corbin and Pierson Hill. Christian, (Kori), Cassidy, (Jake), Carissa, Samantha and Joseph Shelton, Johnny Jr., Daniel, David and Naomi Rocha; great-grandchildren, Zoey Shelton. Ezekiel, Jude, and Zedekiah Reeves. Charlotte is also survived by three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 6 to 9 pm at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro. Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 10 am at Terrace Park Cemetery in Holtville.
