It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel "Danny" Cardona, a loving father, grandfather, devoted husband, and cherished friend. Daniel left this world on October 10, 2023, in his hometown of El Centro. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Vicente Cardona; his loving wife, Yvonne "ChaCha" Cardona; and his brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Pam Cardona. Danny is survived by his children, Daniel (Cynthia) Cardona, and Loni (Stan) Herrera; grandchildren, Sarina, Xiomara, Nayeli, Citlali, Araceli, Rene, Noah, and Isaiah; brothers, Tony (Kaylee) Cardona, Vicente (Rosie) Cardona, Mike (Florence) Cardona, and David (Genevive) Cardona; and countless nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on November 7, 2023, at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro, CA. Viewing at 10 am, service at 11 am. With burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Calexico, CA.
