JUAN MANUEL SEPULVEDA

1929 - 2018

Juan Manuel Sepulveda of Brawley, CA passed away on December 25, 2018 surrounded by his family. Juan Manuel was born on August 21, 1929 in Sinaloa De Leyba, Sinaloa. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lidia Cardenas Sepulveda; children, Anita (Ricardo) Necochea, Juan Manuel Jr. (Eva) Sepulveda, Alma (Gilberto) Pineda, Isabel (Russell) Frazer, Sylvia (Roberto) Lovio, David (Maria) Sepulveda and Lourdes (Miguel) Trujillo; 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by all who got to know him by his great conversations with great detail and wit where at times he would lose you but remarkably would tie the story up at the end leaving you amazed at how he would not lose his train of thought. He loved to joke with all his Grandchildren and would "high five" them when he would see them and give them kisses on their foreheads. He loved having his grandchildren around. He loved music, hearing the news with his headphones, gold mining, farming, cars, mechanics, taking care of his citrus trees when he could. He enjoyed and was amazed of the latest technology and got to grow to love "alexa". He will undoubtedly be missed. Services will be held on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at 6 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley and burial on Thursday January 10, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.
