Dan and I shared the same bday 8/7/63. But, he always claimed I was older! He painted our baby room (over 14 years ago) with an awesome southwest mural - amazing talent! Joe and I can't believe we won't see him again. So sorry to miss the service today.

46! You died way to young, you had lots of good ideas that never were seen by the world, the arguments we had over the years were often mere quibbling, Now we never will get to see the real artist that some say was just as good as any (Marvel, DC) Tracy’s wonderful boys will miss their uncle seeing their accomplishments and grand kids, Gwen and Sara will miss having someone around from Dads family and me and Dallas will miss having a sounding board, someone who helps complete our ideas, the world has lost out on your presence, if there is a heaven and hell I know your in Heaven now and the pain and suffering is over.

Uncle Dan - I'm going to miss you, little buddy. I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to pick at your brain for so many years and will never all the great times we had together. You are and will be missed.
Requies'cat in pa'ce.

I will truly miss uncle Daniel, as he was like an uncle to me too. I will always remember him for he has been a role model for me, and partly responsible for who I am today. I will remember him as an uncle, friend, teacher, and all around great man. I will miss his funny sarcasm, great quips, the laughter that we shared, as well as his great knowledge of foods, and wines. I laugh when I think of the times Gary and Jeremy would mess with him, and how quickly he would do some crazy move and have you guys in a submission hold. I'll always regret how his talents for art and drawing were missed by the general public as another great artist has left us. I will miss him dearly, but I will never forget him. Rest in Peace uncle Daniel…….

Sincerely,

Calvin Manthey
