Donald Fleury Obituary
Donald J Fleury passed away Feb 1, 2020 at the age of 84. Dear father of Thomas (Maxine), John (Nichol) and Brian (Sue), Bruce and the late Edward. Grandfather to Rachael, Alexander, Haley and Tena. Beloved fiancé and best friend for 35 years to Betty Bauter. Brother of Harriet (Floyd Manthey). Also survived by nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Special friend to Kathy (Steve), Robert (Cathy) and their families. Don was an accordionist and the leader of the Don Fleury Band for 64 years, retiring in 2013. The band performed at Summerfest, Polishfest, state and county fairs, and many others festivals. Don played in the area's most popular ballrooms and taverns, he played over 1,000 weddings and anniversaries. Don was inducted into the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame in 2000. Don and Betty enjoyed over 100 cruises and many tours on land visiting every continent but Antarctica. At Don's request, private family services will be held.
