Gerald Matthew "Jerry" Felician

Felician, Gerald Matthew "Jerry" "the Pelican" or "the Bird" , age 77, of Wind Lake, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Felician; his daughters, Nicole Felician (John Benson) and Tiffany Felician; his mother-in-law Dorothy Rector-Brown; his siblings, Louis Felician (Cecil), Jean Black (Richard), Dennis Felician (Linda) and Debbie Ramirez (Jolino); his brother-in-law Dennis Rector (Mary) and sister-in-law Barbara Burk (Byron); adoring nieces and nephews; and many softball pals, Wind Lake beer buddies, and friends from the old neighborhood. Born in Milwaukee, Jerry was a member of South Division High School's sports teams. Jerry managed Mexican restaurants for 25 years, and later owned and operated Marco's Pizza in Milwaukee and Oak Creek. When Jerry retired, he became a full-time senior softball player. He took great pride in his 2002 AAA-Division World Championship Senior Softball ring. When not on the field, he handcrafted gorgeous made-to-order wood furniture for his wife and daughters. He also provided his family and friends with endless amusement through his fashion choices, which included self-made rope belts, Gilligan Island-style hats, and an eclectic collection of softball T-shirts. There will be a celebration of Jerry Felician's life at his sister's restaurant, Mis Suenos Mexican Restaurant, 7335 W Greenfield Ave., West Allis, WI 53214, on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 4 PM to 7 PM.
