Wichita, Kansas - April Lynn Welch, 22, of Wichita passed on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Her loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.
April is survived by her fiancé, Hayden Forsythe, daughter Layla, mother Francie Welch, sister Emily Welch, Nana Linda Welch, Grandma Pat Gill, nephew Ryker Welch, future in-laws, Lantz and Neysa Forsythe all of Wichita, Grandparents Tom and Janet Trosper, of Grove, Oklahoma, Grandparents Ron and Lisa Welch of Jacksonville, Florida and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daddy, Corey Welch and her Papa George Casement.
Anyone wishing to honor April's memory may do so with a contribution to Layla's future educational fund at Home Bank & Trust Company, 1409 N Greenwich Rd, in Wichita, KS 67206. A private family celebration of life and memorial service has been planned.

My beautiful angle, you are so loved and not a day goes by where we don´t think about you. Life´s been tough without you here but I know you and dad are watching over us and cheering us on. You were the one and only person who could put a smile on my face just by being yourself. You were so quirky, optimistic and full of life. You brought so much joy to mine and so many others lives. Everywhere you went you made people smile. Every person you met you made an impact on. you were my lifelong best friend and I have so many memories of us just hysterically laughing together and doing the craziest thing. And I will forever hold on to those memories. Losing you has been the hardest thing I´ve ever had to go through but it brings me peace of mind knowing that you´re in a better place. Rest easy beautiful I´ll see you again someday.

Dear Sweet April, My heart cant fathom the pain your family must feel. Most of all your sissy and nana. I dont have a single memory of you that didnt include you making me laugh until I cried.
