Helen Knipp Obituary

Knipp, Helen Elizabeth, 88, passed away Easter Sunday morning, March 27, 2005 at Tipton Manor, Tipton, MO. She was born April 11, 1916 in Nelson, MO, the daughter of John Francis and Mary Elizabeth (Gillespie) Cullen. She married Joseph Andrew Knipp on May 24, 1941 in Pilot Grove, MO. He died May 31, 1977. She is survived by sons, Jim Knipp and wife, Sandy, John and wife, Pat all of Wichita, Joseph Jr. and wife, Lisa of Tipton, MO; daughters, Mary Faith McGuire and husband, Jerry of Boonville, MO, Maureen Bret and husband, Joe of Overland Park, KS, Rosalie Bealer of Jefferson City, MO, Mary Elizabeth Moon and husband, Greg of Tipton, MO, Laura Singer and husband, Craig of Wichita. She was preceded in death by one daughter, in infancy, Mary Terese on Sept. 4, 1958. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill and Joe Cullen of Kansas City, MO; sisters, Mary Mooney of Lansing, IA, Rose Green, Margaret McKenna, Dorothy Blottman all of Kansas City, MO, Pat Tausch of San Diego, CA; mother-in-law, Gertrude Knipp of Tipton, MO. Rosary 4 p.m. Tuesday, Meisenheimer Funeral Home, Tipton, followed by visitation until 8 p.m.; Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Andrew Church with Father David Veit officiating. The family suggests memorials to St. Andrew Church, St. Andrew School, Price James Memorial Library and Missouri River Hospice.
