Kevin's father, Dave, and mother, Mary, were long time good friends and with and with brother Danny support to my Dad, Leo Pivonka in his last years. My family and I greatly regret the sorrow Kevin's passing has visited upon his family, and wish for your peace and happiness in the future.

My heart is breaking for Tracy, Bailey & Reilly. I know of no one who loved his family more than Kevin. He also loved his staff & students at Apollo. Kevin is an inspiration for me & for so many others. He handled his cancer journey with faith, strength, optimism, & dignity. My prayer was that he be healed here on earth; God's plan was that he enter heaven, healed & whole. I don't understand, but I know God is in control, & His plans are for good. I love you, dear friend; & I will see you again.

My sincere sympathy to your family. Summit, my therapy dog, and I met Kevin during his treatment. We had some good visits during those times. He was very devoted to his family and education and will be sorely missed by many.

Tracy and family: Please know that I am thinking of you all and keeping you in my prayers. Kevin was a "natural" educator, many can be trained for education, but few are natural. He was, I knew it the first time I met him way back when. He will be missed by many who admired and loved him.
