HAZEL BRADSHAW Obituary

Hazel D. Bradshaw, 92 of Lee's Summit, MO passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at John Knox Village Care Center. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 16 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons, Floral Hills Chapel followed by a service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association or the Village Church. Hazel was born January 13, 1920 in Hurdland, MO to Melvin C. and Opal (Miller) Pruet and had lived in this area most of her life. Before retiring Hazel had been a member of the office staff at Hall's Department Store. She was a member of the Village Church, Job's Daughters, Bethel Chapter #24, Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #327 and American Legion Post #189, Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Lewis E. Bradshaw, Jr. in 2001, her son, Lewis E. Bradshaw, III in 2005, a daughter, Terry Jo Boyer in 2003, 2 sons-in-law, Dr. Philip A. Boyer, Jr. in 1991 and Stephen C. Pierce in 2009. Survivors include a daughter, Roberta Pierce, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson Fond memories and condolences for the family may be left at www.floralhillsfuneralhome.com (Arr.: D.W.
