JERRY KURTH Obituary

A celebration of Jerry Kurth's life will be held in the Kansas City area at a Memorial Service on Sat., Sept. 22, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John LaLande Church, 805 NW R.D. Mize Rd., Blue Springs, MO. Jerry died unexpectedly on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2011, in Scottsdale, AZ. A 20-year career Marine, Lt. Col. Gerald F. Kurth, USMC, was buried with full military honors at VA National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix. He retired from Wells Fargo Advisors in 2009 after a 23-year career as Senior Vice President- Investment Officer, Financial Advisor. His family invites all of Jerry's friends to this hometown Memorial Service in honor of his memory as we approach the anniversary of his death. Everyone is welcome.

I am grateful for the life of Lt. Col. Kurth. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.
