JORDAN LINDSEY Obituary

Jordan D. Lindsey, 74, Harrisonville, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, after a short bout with cancer. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the United Methodist Church, Harrisonville. Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Family will receive friends 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the church. Contributions to K.C. Hospice or American Cancer. He worked at the Allen Bank and Trust Co. for 31 years, with his father and brother, retiring on Dec. 30, 1995, as Executive Vice-President. He was a Navy Veteran. Jordan was preceded in death by his parents, Jordan and Gracia Lindsey, and one son, Shawn. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Virginia, of the home; one son, Mark and his wife Melissa Lindsey, Harrisonville, and children Shauna and Ethan; one daughter, Brenda and her husband Grady Boly of Creighton, Mo., and children Lindsey Costello and Bradley Freeman; one brother, Dayle Lindsey of Harrisonville; a sister, and two great-grandchildren. Virginia, we are so sad to hear of Jordan's passing. We have lots of fond memories of Harrisonville and all our friends there. You and Jordan have always been a part of those memories. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Larry and Karen Finney
