Vickie, I am so sorry for your loss. Larry was such a sweet and kind person. I so enjoyed the banter between the "golf" boys. They did enjoy themselves. He will surely be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Graham was my band teacher for 7th and 8th grade at Wm Chrisman Jr. High in Independence MO. In 1979 and 1980 he was such a gentle soul but so passionate about music and the young people he taught. He was a major influence on me for more than just music. He taught patience and kindness and humor. He was funny and generous. Truly a wonderful teacher! Thank you Mr. Graham.

He was a great teacher. If I remember correctly, he was my band teacher when Truman was South Secondary in 1965.

Mr. Graham was both 7th grade band at Palmer Jr. High and my private lessons teacher. He was a great teacher. His band class was one of the best parts of 7th grade for me. He will be missed, i am so sorry to know he is gone.

Mr. Graham was my music teacher in the 9th grade. We had just moved to Independence from a small town in Kansas and I was a bit overwhelmed by the changes. His band class helped me feel at home. I am sorry for your loss.

I had Mr Graham for band in 1966. He did make band fun. I enjoyed attending his class everyday.

I remember playing golf with Larry when we worked together at William Chrisman Junior High from 1969-74. He was a good guy, a good teacher, and a good golfer. He was always in the fairway and really good around the greens, which, if you think about it, is a pretty good metaphor for how to live your life.

Me Graham I very much enjoyed being in WCJH band because you were the leader. I think back to probably the only classes I remember and wonder.
How in the heck did you tolerate all the foolishness I created, it was only because you were one of my favorites.

Larry was a great father figure. I never heard him say one bad word about anyone. I will miss sneaking away at the kids games and buying him hot dogs. Going to lunch at Tim's Pizza and saying we ate BBQ. I know you will enjoy playing golf in Heaven where the sun is always shining and there is no wind to contend with.

Larry was a true gentlemen and a great father figure. I never heard him say one bad thing about anyone. He always had a smile and a handshake for me. I will miss sneaking away at the kids games and buying him hot dogs and going to Tim's Pizza and saying we went to eat BBQ for lunch. I know you will enjoy golf in Heaven where the sun is always shining and there is no wind to contend with.

I am so sorry to hear this. Mr. Graham was a big influence and helped me along the path of being a musician. That life took me around the world, granted me experiences I could not have dreamed of and brought me life-long friends. Because of you, Larry Graham. Thank you.

Mr. Graham was my band teacher 7th thru 9th grade @ Chrisman Jr. 1966 - 1969. He was an excellent teacher and mentor. He helped instill in me a love of music and I still play my flute all these years later. My condolences to his family and friends.

Vickie, I'm so sorry for your loss, and please know you're in our thoughts and prayers. I always enjoyed playing clarinet next to Larry in the orchestra at church. He always said things to try to make me laugh. Hugs and love to you.
