William Mullarky Obituary
December 21, 1924 - August 18, 2021
Kansas City, Missouri - William "Bill" C. Mullarky passed away on August 18th, 2021 in his home in Kansas City, Missouri.
Bill was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Benjamin and Louise Mullarky on December 21st, 1924. He graduated from Central High School
He enlisted in the Navy and was a pilot in the Naval Air Corp. This produced several memorable stories for his friends and family. He went on to graduate from the University of Kansas and went to work for Dunn and Bradstreet. Following his tenure with Dunn and Bradstreet, he moved to Commercial Claims where he was the Vice President until his retirement in 1990
He married Beverly Harrison on April 25, 1954. Together they had three sons: Dan, Tim and Matt. They were married for 66 years prior to Beverly's passing on July 21, 2020. They both were active with the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scout troop at the Village Church.
. Bill enjoyed 3&2 baseball where most summers he coached 3 teams for his sons. He loved pitching batting practice for the kids on a field they called the "Rock Pile". He also coached football for the 5th through the 9th grade teams He enjoyed the Royals, the Chiefs and watching KU basketball throughout the years. When he had free time after retirement, he and Bev volunteered at the Folly Theater in downtown Kansas City and at the Village Church Food Pantry.
He is survived by his sons Daniel Mullarky, Timothy Mullarky and Matthew and Kathi Mullarky; 3 grandsons Ryan, Conor and Lucas Mullarky.
Bill's Memorial Service will be held at the Village Presbyterian Church on 9/18/21 at 1030am. There will be a reception at the church following his service. He will be laid to rest, with his wife Bev, at the Corinth Cemetery.

Dan, Matt, Tim & Family~my deepest condolences to all of you. I remember your dad always teasing my pops on his convertible hat...funny thing is your dad wore one too, just didn't have the convertible, We were neighbors for so many years...you boys always looked after me in grade school along with the Start boys. Maybe your sweet mother had something to do with that?? May both your dad & mother's memories be of blessings,
