Dillon was born on October 11, 1957 to Willis Johnson and Norma Neal in Sioux City, IA. She grew up in Lawton, IA During her school years she twirled baton. She graduated from East High School in Sioux City, IA a year early with honors. She met Douglas Dillon while she was in high school and the couple married in 1975. Kathy was a mom first and foremost being the BEST MOM. She worked as a dental assistant, dental office manager and later was a real estate agent. In 2008, they were able to retire and made their way to outh Dakota. Kathy enjoyed walleye fishing, hanging out with her family, doting on her grandson, Wyatt. She loved dogs and "the occasional" happy hour. She will be missed dearly. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Dillon, daughter, Trista (Ben) Carter, son, Todd Dillon, grandsons, Wyatt Carter and Thomas Dillon, father, Willis Johnson, mother, Norma Hageman, sister, Kim Johnson and brother, Kurtis Johnson.
