Betty Lowry Obituary
1929 - 2012
Betty Lowry, 83, of Kenosha passed away on Monday Oct. 1, 2012, at her home.
Betty was born on May 7, 1929, in Danville, Ind., the daughter of the late Irvin and Mildred (Joiner) Lowry. She was a graduate of Winona State College. She was employed for many years as an elementary school teacher at K.U.S.D. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Her hobbies included traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her sister, Mary Mueller of Kenosha; a nephew, Jeffrey Lowry of Kenosha; and a niece, Linda (Mark) Younker of Ogden, Utah. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Lowry.
Bettys family will hold a memorial gathering at a later date.
Funeral services will be private.
