Avice Morrow Obituary
Avice Josund Morrow
Avice Morrow, a native of New Rockford, N.D., was a generous, kind, positive example to all who knew her.
Avice believed strongly in higher education and had a B.A. in journalism, a M.A. in English and was working on her PhD in linguistics, which was interrupted by the Korean War. She was independent, practical, witty, hard working and charitable. She was a loyal friend, good neighbor, beloved family member and longtime member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Avice never met a stranger and loved to travel having visited all 50 states. Over the last 14 years, she traveled extensively to numerous countries making up for lost time spent homebound, but never complaining, caring for invalid family members for the previous 15 years.
Avice is survived by her only child, Wayne Morrow and his wife Marcia; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is already missed.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Valhalla Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
