David Michael McFarland

PARIS - David Michael McFarland, 58, husband of Cindy Owens McFarland, passed away Sat March 27, 2010 at his home after a courageous battle with brain cancer. A native of Lexington, KY he was the son of the late Otho McFarland and the late Marcella Cullins McFarland Sturgill. He was a former employee of Toyota of Georgetown, Sylvania Glass, was a partner of MVH Industrial and was in the Army Reserves. Additional survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Heather McFarland of Nicholasville; two daughters and one-son-law, Mandi and Aaron Seals of Nicholasville and Gayle Nadorff of Bloomington, IN; two grandchildren, Bekah McFarland and Sydney Hurst; one sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Martin Sheridan of Chicago and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dave was an extraordinary man who will be missed by many. Services will be conducted at 1pm Tue March 30, 2010 at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9pm Mon, March 29, 2010 at the funeral home and from 9am till the hour of service on Tue March 30, 2010. Pallbearers will be Tony Owens, Mark Owens, Jim Wilson, Laura Barton, Stan Holat, Polly Dame, Nathan Marks and Aron Seals.
