Elizabeth Franklin Obituary

FRANKLIN Elizabeth Ann Owings, 80, died Thurs., Mar. 9, 2006, at the U.K. Medical Center. Formerly of Fort Mitchell, she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jan Franklin Collins (1992) and sister, Peggy Logan. She is survived by a son, Bryce Franklin, Lexington, brother, Charles "Buddy" Owings, Somerset, sister, Sue Wright, Birmingham, AL and 3 grandchildren, Brent Collins, Fort Mitchell, Andrew Franklin, Lexington, and Emily Franklin, Lexington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Mon., 12-2 pm, at the Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger. Services Mon., 2 pm, at funeral home. Burial in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorial Contributions can be made to: American Cancer Society, 6612 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41402 or Special Olympics, 105 Lakeview Court, Frankfort, KY 40601-8749.

Dear Bryce and Kathy,

My heart is there with you. I am sorry hear about Aunt Diddy's passing. She will be missed dearly in our hearts. I wish, I was there with everyone. She would haved enjoyed that and she would have teased me about "Gravy Train and Dinosaur Eggs". My prayers to you and your family.
