I am so sorry to hear Gregory (Batman, as we called him) has passed. My heart goes out to all the family and friends of him. He was such a nice and funny guy. I haven't seen Batman in years, but I often think of the good times we all shared back in the 80's. His name is always in our list of guys who kept us laughing. He made a long day seem worth it with his antics and humorous stories. Sometimes he would sit at the store (Battle Tavern) all day, giving the customers a hard time as they entered and kidding with my children when they came home from school.
I regret not keeping in contact with all the guys who made our life bearable in those days and I'm always hurt and saddened when I hear another good guy has passed.
I wish I could have said goodbye.
Take care Winston (and family). You were one of our regulars, too and I want you to know we think of you often, as well.

"To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;"
"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."
Isaiah 61:2-3
