David Walter Heald

David Valrico - Heald Walter Heald David Walter Heald, beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather passed away unexpectedly July 12, 2022. David was born June 25, 1948 in Danville, IL to Ruth Lou Emma and Walter Warden Heald. He had quite an exciting life traveling the world with the U.S. Army taking him to Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, Key West, Fl, Honolulu Hawaii, Washington, D.C., and others. He retired from the U.S. Army with 22 years of service in 1992. He continued to work in the defense industry for another 22 years. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Kirsten, son Greg, brother Frank, and grandchildren Thomas, Luke, Lily and Liv. Among other things David was a marathon runner, golfer, carpenter, teacher, incredibly patient and generally just a great role model.

He was much loved and is gone far too soon.
