Eula Mae Richardson

December 29, 1937 -

February 2, 2021

Eula Mae Richardson, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loved ones on February 2, 2021. Eula was born on December 29, 1937 in Hamburg, Arkansas. She moved to Kitsap County, WA with her mother in 1942 and lived in Bremerton as (one of the original "Sinclair Heights Kids"). She then moved to Silverdale where she raised her 5 children. After her kids were grown, Eula moved to Olympia, WA, where she spent the remainder of her life with her loving husband of 32 years George Nathaniel Richardson.

Eula attended Olympic College and worked for the State of Washington Employment Security Department from 1967-1996. While working for the state, she recruited numerous Kitsap County youth's into the Job Corps program. She retired as an Intake Supervisor at the Lacey Job Service Center.

Her place of worship (Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses), Carpenter Hill Congregation, Lacey, WA. Some of Eula's many hobbies included quilting, cooking and RVing. Eula and George loved spending time with their children and grandchildren, camping at many of the Pacific Northwest parks.

Preceding her in death, were her mother Earlean Burnem and her two brothers Leo Leblanc and Jerry Sawyer.

Eula is survived by her loving husband, George Nathaniel Richardson, sons John Johnson (Dana Johnson), Port Orchard WA and David Johnson, Bremerton, WA. Daughters Yvonne Jenkins (Walter Jenkins Jr), Elgin, SC, Yvette Perrine, Tacoma WA and Cynthia Irons (Gordy Irons), Seabeck, WA. 3 Stepchildren Arleen Reed, Wilson, NC, Revito Richardson, Raleigh, NC, and George Richardson, Spring Hope, NC. 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Eula is also survived by brothers Harry Fleming, James Fleming, Robert Sawyer and sister's Darlean Emery and Tina Jacobs.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the family will be having a private Graveside service, at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St. Kent, WA 98042. Flowers and cards can be sent to the Cemetery on February 18, 2021, the day of the service or sent to the Family home.

Love you grandma I'll always remember spending time at your place in Lacey when I was young spending full weeks with grandma watching old weird 70's cartoons and making fun of grandpa for chewing his ice cream. I love you always have and always will.
