BARBARA JEAN DOCKERY MONEYMAKER HENSLEY

HENSLEY, BARBARA JEAN DOCKERY MONEYMAKER, age 81, of Knoxville went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 7, 2014. She was a member of First Baptist Concord. Barbara was a loving wife, mother and Nana. Her greatest passion was spending time with family and friends. Barbara always enjoyed painting, cooking and music. On Saturday nights her home was always filled with lots of music and food. She was preceded in death in 1995 by her husband, Donald Max Hensley and husband, Clifton "Bud" Moneymaker in 2012. Barbara's sons, Donald Steven Hensley and Robert Lynn Hensley and her grandson, Joseph Mack "Joey" Hensley also predeceased her. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Cherie Chapman and her sons, Christian Chapman and Trent Chapman; grandson, Donald "Donnie" Max Hensley and his wife, Kelli and their children, Mackezie, Lauren and Brody; granddaughter, Amy Hensley and her son, Camren; grandson, Michael Steven Hensley and his wife, Vanessa and their children, Emma and Zoe; grandson, Mike Rogers and his family; special nieces who took care of Barbara, Mary Jo Gibson and Dottie McMahan; daughters-in-law, Jacki Sowders Hensley; Donna Hensley Nahmod; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Family and friends will gather at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Davis Cemetery for graveside services with great nephew, Chuck Dockery officiating. Bob Mader will provide mandolin music.
