Mrs. Hansard was my first grade teacher around 1955. She was indeed a wonderful lady and what a positive and lasting impression she made on MANY young children. You, her family, should be VERY proud of her. I am so sorry for your loss.

Lucinda was my great aunt. Aunt Stella, my mother June and I visited her in Fountain City a couple of times, but I saw her most often when she came to visit my grandfather who was her brother Roy. She was always such a sweet person. My prayers are with her children and grandchildren.

Ms. Hansard was such a special person to many people. We enjoyed spending time with her every Sunday morning during our worship service at Holston. She always had a smile and was very complimentary of the service. She was a blessing to my family and church. We will miss her but know that she is smiling in heaven!

Mrs. Hansard was my first grade teacher in school year 1970-1971. I have so many wonderful memories of that time at Fountain City Elementary School. She was a fantastic teacher. It was obvious that she had the "call to teach", and her heart and soul were in it.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Hansard recently at the hospital. She told me if she lived to be 100 years old she was going to dance on the roof of the hospital. I know whe is now dancing with her heavenly father. I feel very blessed to have met such a special lady. May she rest in peace.

I was blessed to have known Ms. Hansard. She was "my Kentucky girl". Truly one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my life. I know heaven welcomed a true angel yesterday. I will miss her smile and postive words. Rest in His arms, Ms. Hansard. The twins and I will miss you.

Mrs. Hansard, was my first grade school teacher. It is amazing how certain school teachers leave an impression on you throughout your entire life. I am sorry for the loss to her family, as I am sure they have lost an irreplaceable jewel.
