Martha was such a sweet lady. When I worked at Westgate Elementary, I spent time with Martha during the day getting the kindergarten children their snacks. I have thought of her quite often.

We are so sorry to hear about Martha. She was a lovely and sweet lady. She was a beloved member of St. Luke’s UMC, and a dear friend.

I was teaching at Westgate Elementary school when Martha managed the cafeteria there. I remember her kind smile and soft reassuring voice. She was very caring. She went on the yearly camping trips with our third graders and delighted everyone with pancakes in the morning. It sounds like she enjoyed her retirement years. My sincere condolences to her children, grandchildren, and other family members. Fran McElvey (Jones)
