MICHAEL H. EPPERSON

EPPERSON, MICHAEL H. (MIKE) - age 65 of Knoxville, passed away suddenly Wednesday June 20, 2012 at his home. Mike attended Apostles Anglican Church. He was born in Sweetwater, Tennessee and attended the University of Georgia. Mike was a veteran of the U S Air Force. He was a retired employee of Lanier Worldwide/Ricoh after 39 years of service. Mike was an avid photographer and loved computers, woodworking and traveling. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lucile Anthony Epperson. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Davis Epperson; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Zeina Epperson and their son, Aimon Joseph Epperson of London, England, Jeffrey and Rebekkah Epperson of Knoxville; sister, Janice Allen of Lee's Summit, Missouri; brother, Van Epperson of Los Angeles, California; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Jimmy Guntharp of Smyrna, Georgia, Jacque and Bob Newton of Buford, Georgia and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. on Sunday followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m. at the Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel with The Rev. Jack King officiating.
