Ralph A. DeKock

Ralph A. DeKock age 78, of DeMotte, IN passed away on Tuesday January 10, 2012 at his residence. He was born on February 13, 1933 in DeMotte, IN to Ralph and Teenie (Boezeman) DeKock, both deceased.
Ralph was a 1951 graduate of DeMotte High School and a self employed farmer. On July 24, 1953 he married Violet DeYoung, who survives. He was a member of the Coast Guard and member of American Reformed Church.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Violet DeKock of DeMotte, IN; Children: Karen Rients, Fair Oaks, IN; Richard (Julie) DeKock, Fair Oaks, IN and Diane (John) Spurgeon, Wheatfield, IN; 6 grandchildren; Lee Rients, Ryan (Taunia) Rients, Eric DeKock, Brian DeKock,
Matthew (Barrett) Spurgeon & Stacy Spurgeon; 3 Great-granchildren; Shianne, Michaela & Cierra; Brothers & sisters; John (Ruth) DeKock, DeMotte, IN; Mary (Randall) Vande Water, Holland, MI; Joseph (Susan) DeKock, Hudsonville, MI; Sister-in-law, Helen DeKock, DeMotte, IN.
Preceded in death by his parents, Brother Henry DeKock and son-in-law, Michael Rients.
Friends may call on Saturday Jan. 14, 2012 from 10 a.m. to noon with a Funeral Service at noon at The American Reformed Church, DeMotte, Ind. with Pastor Dan Jelsma and Rev. Roger DeYoung officiating. Interment at Holland Cemetery, DeMotte, IN. Memorials may be made to Jasper County Hospital Home Health Care & Hospice or Donor's Choice.
