Paul Sattler Obituary

Paul L. Sattler, 84, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 from a long illness. Paul was born January 22, 1934 in Waukegan, Illinois, the youngest of four sons (Gerald, Bernard, Donald, and Paul) born to Delbert H. Sattler and Mary E. Sattler. On June 22, 1957 in Waukegan, Illinois, he was united in marriage to Mary A. Siebert. He graduated from Waukegan High School and continued to live in Waukegan. Paul enjoyed power boating, spending many weekends on the Chain of Lakes, and many yearly trips to Lake of the Ozarks. He also was an avid sports fan, enjoying particularly the Chicago Cubs and Bears. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Mary (Siebert) Sattler, and his son Bradley P. Sattler of Trabuco Canyon, California, Further survived by his grandson Zachary P. Sattler, sister-in-laws Ann Sattler, Rosemary Sattler, Shirley Robinson, Carol Joan Siebert, April Walton, Dawn Covington, Brenda Cartwright, and brother-in-laws Norris Siebert, Robert Siebert, and many nephews, nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews who all hold a very special place in his heart. Paul will always be remembered as a great family man, and loving father. Per Paul's wishes, there was a funeral mass at Most Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Waukegan on Friday, April 13th at 10 am. Memorials in Paul's name may be made to the family in care of Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Road, Gurnee, Illinois. Online condolences may be made at MarshFuneralHome.com. The Marsh Funeral Home is assisting the family.
