Bryan Janes Obituary

Bryan Francis Janes, 39 of Hannibal, MO passed away at 7:45 PM Friday, December 9, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Tabernacle of Praise Church in Hannibal, MO.  Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO.  Pastor Michael Neff will officiate. Friends and family are invited to Bryan's Life Celebration at a visitation to be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Bryan was born on September 22, 1977 in Hannibal to Larry and Earnestene Garrett Janes.
 Survivors include his parents of Hannibal, MO; 1 brother, Darren Janes (Gayle) of Monroe City, MO; 1 sister, Kara Sinclair (Brian) of Hannibal, MO and nieces and nephews:  Tyler Janes, Austin Janes, Kylie Janes, Evan Janes and Hunter Sinclair and Levi Sinclair.  Also surviving is Bryan's beloved pet dog and friend, "Cotton".  Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Frank and Martha Janes and Claude Earnest Garrett and Ester Pearl Hibbard and cousins:  Denny Janes, Justin Smoot and Leslie Ross. Bryan was a self employed contractor.
 Away from work Bryan loved to ride motorcycles, especially his Harley.  Bryan was also an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing.  Camping, boating and hiking at Mark Twain Lake was also special to Bryan.  He loved to watch St. Louis Blues hockey and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.  A talented athlete, Bryan wrestled throughout his high school career and played fast pitch softball, playing for an O'Donnell's Fast pitch team that finished 3rd nationally. Above all Bryan treasured time with his family and his pet dog, "Cotton".  Often telling those close to him "Call me if you need me" and sincerely meaning it, Bryan loved his family. Bryan was a Christian by faith.
 Pallbearers will be Derek Greening, Seth Wade, Evan Janes, Terry Oltman, Danny Janes, David Janes and James Brokes.
 Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Janes ,  Austin Janes, Donnie Brooks  and Jim Meyers.
 Memorial contributions may be made to the Northeast Missouri Humane Society in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
