Anita Miller (nee Krohn)
WALWORTH - Anita Miller (nee Krohn), 87, of Walworth, WI, passed away peacefully at her home on October 20, 2021.
Anita will be dearly missed by her five loving children: Mary Ann, Patricia, Ken (Dayle), Steven (Teresa), and Robert Miller. She is survived by her grandchildren: Sari (Scott), Michael (Marian), Jessica (Jason), Rebecca (Roberto), Steven, Jr. (Niki), Alicia, Daniel (Erica), and Jordan. Anita is additionally survived by her great-grandchildren: Sylvia, Sophia, Dylan, Madeline, Chase, Emma, Brinley, Kyleigh, Jaxson, Harper, Laiton, Owen, and River. Despite being an only child, she leaves behind many friends and relatives with fond memories and inspiration. Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Miller, Sr., whom she married on January 29, 1955, as well as her parents, Leroy and Helen Krohn.
Anita spent almost 43 years as a candymaker, working at Anderson's Candy Shop in Richmond, IL, while simultaneously caring for her home and family. She was a chef, baker, and all around "kitchen-extraordinaire"; her culinary efforts will be greatly missed. Moreover, Anita was a cherished and tremendous mother, who provided those around her with constant patience and unconditional love. She additionally took pleasure in reading, gardening, birdwatching, nature, puzzles, and all Wisconsin sports teams.
We would also like to thank the SSM Hospice team for their wonderful assistance and care they gave her.
A Celebration of Anita's Life will be held in the Spring of 2022 with further details to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lakeland Animal Shelter of Elkhorn, WI, where Anita adopted many beloved pets, PO Box 1000, 3615 State Road 67, Elkhorn, WI 53121.
