Corda Householder Obituary
LANCASTER: Corda Lulu "Patty" (Webb) Householder, 89, of Lancaster, OH went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 27, 2015. She was born November 17, 1926, to the late James Harry and Jennie Webb.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd "Junior" Householder; sister, JoAnn Hyatt; brother, Dick Webb.
Survived by sons, Tom (Susan), Mike, and John Householder; sisters, Leona Berry, Jean (Bob) Poling and Harriet Beougher; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews.
Patty, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lancaster, OH for over 60 years, served with several church organizations. She was also a member of the Fairfield Heritage Assn. Tour of Homes. Graduated from Chauncey Dover High School and worked for Fairfield Federal Savings & Loan. She will be remembered for her love of family and her generous and caring heart that forever touched many lives.
Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 163 E. Wheeling St., Lancaster, Ohio at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 with visitation in the parlor one hour prior. Interment at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lancaster, Ohio.

Thought of you and Junior when the Heisman Trophy winner was announced, and guess what, he was from the Plains in Athens county where both of you grew up. His speech was so inspirational about the area and so full of thanks that over $500,000 was given to the Athens County food bank to help the poor in the area. I remember the stories you told me about the area and the poverty, and knew in my heart once again that poverty does not define us, but motivates us, You and Junior were an inspiration to me. Tom, so sorry to hear about your Mom..We were in Lancaster last summer and thought about herthen..My Mom has been gone for 4 years now[at the age of 94]..Still miss her alot , but time is healing slowly

My sincere condolence to Patty's family and close friends. I have fond memories of Patty (of course, we knew her then as Mrs. Householder) teaching Sunday school at First Methodist Church. Later we shared a common interest in antiques. She was a very special lady.

I have many fond memories of Aunt Patty from our many summer trips to Ohio. Breakfasts at the White Cottage with the aunts, adventures at Rising Park, her awesome house and her letting Sara and I dress up and have elaborate tea parties. I know that she is now made whole again in Heaven. Rest in Peace Aunt Patty, I love you. To her family- I pray that God comforts you and wraps His loving arms around you with peace.

We are so sorry to hear of Patty's passing. We will remember her for her hours of loving yard work and making her house a beautiful home. When we moved-in next door to her on King Street in 1999, she welcomed us to the block with open arms. Your folks planted the gorgeous magnolia tree that blooms every year outside our daughter's bedroom. Your Mom will be remembered. Our sincere sympathies to your family.
