Donald Lehew Obituary
Lancaster - Donald A. Lehew has passed away after living a good life on March 18, 2020 at OSU Wexner Medical Center. He was born to the late Bert and Lena Lehew on March 30, 1930.
Donald was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army, and was a member of the American Legion Post 11.
He is survived by his son, Dirk and daughter-in-law Sharon Lehew; step-daughters, Erika Hatcher and Marianne Salem; nieces, Jo Ellen Beddow, Leann Scott, and many other nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren; good friend, Jessica Dent; and lifetime friend, Chuck Burgoon.
Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Inga Lehew; sisters, Betty Jackson, and Fraulein Jackson; niece, Roberta "Mitzi" Johnston; nephew, Donald Jackson; parents; and special friends: you know who you are.

I worked with Don for years. We became good work friends. I didn´t know Don passed away as I live in another county and don´t get the Lancaster paper. I would have been there for his funeral for sure. He was a good guy and good friend.

Mr. Lehew was my immediate supervisor at Diamond Power in the 80's and my desk was right in front of his, so I got to know him well. I will never forget how frugal he was and his quick sense of humor kept the office lively. He also was related to our family through his sister Betty Jackson, but that is a long story as anyone in the Jackson clan will know. God bless everyone in this time of grief. Don will surely be missed by many.

Don and I worked together at Diamond Power. Always a nice man and latter learned that he and my mother went to the same grade school together. Hope many good memories give you peace and joy. Blessings to family and friends.
