John Padilla Obituary
He was born on Aug. 20, 1956 to Corrina Padilla.
John Henry was a hard worker and worked a variety of different jobs in several different states throughout his career including Colorado, Utah, California, Nevada and New Mexico. He worked for the railroad, the forest service, as a lead mechanic supervisor, in the food service industry and as a clerk for Allsup's for many years before his retirement.
The beautiful mountains of the Mora valley brought him great joy. He loved to draw, read, fish, work in his garden, and splitting wood. He was a strong willed man and had a great sense of humor.
John Henry is survived by his brothers, Juan Felix Archuleta (Sophia), Alfonso David Archuleta, Fred Padilla (Leticia), Peter Rudy Padilla, and beloved sister Muriel (Boo-Boo) Barron. A special nephew, who was like a brother to him, Juan Archuleta, Jr (Julia), Aunt Dulcinea Padilla, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
Rosary service will be Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021 at 7 p.m. and funeral mass on Monday, Aug. 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. Gertrude the Great Catholic Church in Mora, N.M.

Although I did not know John very well, we shared time on MWF in dialysis. He was such a nice man, I enjoyed hearing about his garden and weeds!
I miss seeing him coming in with all of his baggage! He was a good man, may he Rest In Peace. God bless you John, I´ll never forget you.
