Ernest E. Molina

Ernest (Ernie) Estrada Molina, age 89, of Murray, Kentucky, died at Murray Calloway County Hospital on January 14, 2015. He previously lived in West Los Angeles, CA and departed for Kentucky in 2001. He is presently buried in a cemetery in Paducah, KY. He dropped out of high school to join the Navy in WWII and received one battle star for the invasion of Okinawa. He became a butcher after the war like his father in San Antonio but stayed in the Naval Reserve. He was an outstanding butcher. He was later called to active duty as a GMM3 for the Korea Conflict in which he received two more battle stars for Korea. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one quasi-adopted brother, and three brothers. He is survived by his brothers/sisters of San Antonio, Texas - Jose Molina, Jovita M. Rodriguez, Eustolia M. Rodriguez, Antonio Molina, and Elviria M. Gornell - and sons/daughter of San Antonio - Juan Molina, Lily Molina, and James Molina. Possible reburial services at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a date to be determine.
