Florence Rosalie CANDEE

October 18, 1923 - April 16, 2021 Florence (Flossie) Rosalie Candee passed away peacefully on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Jewish Home for the Aged in Reseda, CA. She was a native of Los Angeles and lived there her entire life. She was a lover of the arts, gifted artist, talented tap dancer well into her senior years, and adult education teacher for many years. She was loved by everyone she met and loved her family more than anyone. Her bright red hair never went unnoticed and that's the way she liked it. Florence is predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Joseph, and son, Robert. She is survived by her loving daughters, Sandra Palmer of Setauket, NY, Sherree Fogel of Santa Rosa, CA, and their husbands, Robert Palmer and Harry Fogel. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Anna, Benjamin, Sonya, Naton, and Dylan, and six great grandchildren, Emma, Cooper, Asher, Olive, Bodin, and Ruby. Gravesite services will be held at Hillside Memorial Cemetery in Culver City, CA, on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. Due to COVID regulations, please arrive 45 minutes early. We love you Flossie and know you are tap dancing in heaven.
