She welcomed all children into her life and was active in the PTA, Campfire girls and Boy Scouts. Karen hosted holidays for family and friends, providing, wonderful food, love and laughter. She always let people know, in her own unique way, that they were loved. She also enjoyed several years of work in travel, real estate, and worked for family owned Surftech Finishes. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, countless friends and relatives, and by all of those who benefited from her wisdom and personal acts of kindness. Her strength and generosity will never be forgotten. Karen was absolutely beautiful inside and out.

Sheryl and family, So, so sorry to hear of your mother's death. I have so many fond memories of sharing my childhood with your family! Your mom was a funny, loving, wonderful woman whom I feel very lucky to have known. Even though I haven't seen her in years, I will miss her very much.

Love to you all,
