Marvin Grayson Obituary
He will be missed by his loving family: wife, Karen Grayson; daughter Deborah Grayson and stepdaughter Amy Perez. Marvin was born in New York City in 1917. Marvin trained and taught at the Art Students League before moving to Los Angeles in the mid 1940's. His contributions as an artist and political activist were numerous and noteworthy. His work was widely exhibited, including the Hermitage in St. Petersberg. Marvin's art was shaped and inspired by his political beliefs. Throughout his life Marvin was always at the forefront of social justice and peace movements. His friends are numerous and he will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to: United Farm Workers, L.A. Branch, 5313 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90022.
