Richard Field Obituary

November 16, 1954 - June 16, 2014 Richard Warren Field (59) passed away suddenly at his home Monday June 16, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife Carrie; children, Michelle and Ryan; brothers, Chris and Bill; sister, Kathy Bullard; father, Joseph H. Field MD, several nieces, nephews and many special lifelong friends. Rick was a creative soul expressing himself through music and writing. He produced multiple recordings of song and music compilations (recently released Songbook 1) and successfully published multiple books, including The Election, Swords of Faith (2011 IPPY winner) an upcoming novel Sultan & the Khan (To release in November 2014). He was a loving husband and father; always placing his family first and making life better for all who knew him. Rick's final wishes were there be no funeral service but a celebration, happy gathering on an afternoon where people share in his passing, and more importantly celebrate how Rick touched their lives. He requested to have his ashes scattered at Walden Pond where his wife will join him when her time comes. He will be missed greatly having been taken way too soon. In lieu of flowers please make donations to San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission, LA Mission or Rocky Mountain Institute.
