We were fortunate to meet this great man & great dentist the best, it was a miracle that my spouse took his advice for implant; she always rejected Implant advice in England. We became friends and Jasmine & I visited several times for implants. Last time when we visited this brave man was working wearing a portable pancreatic therapy machine. It was great honor to have known this great man. Rest in Paradise Dr Barbanell in the arms of angels.

I knew Ron as a young postdoctoral student in Periodontology at Harvard School Of Dental Medicine. He was always warm, authentically present, personal, and deeply caring who loved what he was doing, loved giving of himself to his patients, and to people with whom he worked. He was always encouraging and appreciative of everyone. He was a humble, talented, and genuinely sincere young man who worked hard to become the best he could be. He always respected my talents and skills and made sure to encourage me as his colleague. He made a deep and lasting impression on me as a young dental hygienist and I never forgot this kind gentle young man. I was surprised and saddened to hear of his passing, but not at all surprised to read of the wonderful loving man and very caring doctor he became to so many. Well done, Ron! Enjoy your reward in Gods Presence!

I was very fortunate to have met dr. Baranell. Not only he was the best at what he did but he was one of the best human being I've ever had the honer of knowing. He was a wonderful man. I needed implants and just happened to see his website on-line. His picture and smile ,plus the success stories convinced me to go by his office. After I met him face-to-face that was it. Both my wife and I got many implants from him. HE IS MISSED! I know we will see him in Heaven. He was a good man.

Oh my God. Dr. Barbanell was a wonderful kind man. He truly cared about us patients. He willingly worked out financial issues with me. I am so sad that he left us too soon. The angels in Heaven are blessed to have him as their dentist.

I didn't know Dr. Barbanell had passed. Called his office this morning to make an appointment then went to Google to see what time his office opens. Can't believe he's gone so saddened. He was so caring I've been his patient for 20 years. Hadn't been back since I've retired. I'll be sad to stop by his office to take care of an implant. Won't be the same without him. I will miss him.

Dr. Barbanell was a great guy! I first met him when I was 14 years old and today I am in my mid 50's. I am truly saddened to hear of his passing. He was the only and one doctor I have always felt comfortable with! As a teenager he would play biblical stories in order to get me to relax. He took the time to care and to listen to me, which is something I would never forget. Some of us are fortunate to have met and to have had someone like Dr. Barbanell in our lives. What a great honor to have known someone like him! He was a trail blazer in his field and SIMPLY THE BEST! Rest in peace my great dentist!

Never thought to look for this guest book before. Stumbled upon it by accident when looking for Dr. Barbanell's website. I knew he had passed away in 2015 and I was very saddened by the news. What a wonderful man, talented, friendly and lived by his philosophy of giving his best to his dental implant patients at an amazingly low cost. Many of his patients quickly considered him to be their friend. You never see that in a dental office today. When I first went to see Dr. Barbanell for a consultation he of course asked me where I lived. When I told him Lompoc, he smiled and said that he actually had lived on the military Army base located about 10 miles north of Lompoc named Camp Cooke since his father was an officer in the Army after WWII stationed at Camp Cooke. (The name of the base was changed to Vandenberg Air Force Base in 1958). You were an awesome person and will be greatly missed not only by your family but also by the thousands of people who you cared for at your dental practice over many years.

I just heard that Ron Barbanell passed away 2 years ago. I am very sad to hear this as he was a friend and my dentist before he retired from the Long Beach office. He was always kind to me and treated me like family and extended his treatment to my family as if they were related to him also. My deepest sympathy to his children and loved ones. He will be missed and remembered for his kindness to us.

I am so sad to hear of Dr. Baranell's passing. I was actually looking online to see what my next step for my implant procedure was and I stumbled upon his obituary. I am speechless, even though he told me he was near the end of his life, I believed that he would be healed. Our last conversation he advised me to enjoy the things I have and not to worry about what I don't have, I remind myself often to take time and enjoy the moment.

So saddened to hear of the passing of Dr Barbanell. Such a fine person and practitioner is so hard to fine. We found both him and when I was in my youth his father. He is such a fine human being and will remember them both
