Ruth Silo Obituary

With deepest sorrow we convey the passing of Ruth Silo, just two months shy of 91 years young. Ruth had two distinct lives. One in New York as a mother and devoted wife to her actor/husband, Jon. When his career moved them to Los Angeles, Ruth reinvented herself and became a "working girl" at MGM. She proved herself invaluable as an Assistant to many top writer-director-producers, from Franco Zefferelli to Jimmy Komack! Ruth is survived by, daughter, actress Susan Silo, two grandsons, two great-grandchildren. She was a one-of-a-kind lady and unfortunately her kind are leaving us much too rapidly.
Rest in peace, dear Ruth.
