Do nald Lamar Theroux 1927-2008 Donald Lamar Theroux was born on May 3, 1927 in Florence, CA and passed away on August 21, 2008 at home in Bellflower, CA surrounded by his wife, son and daughter after a long and difficult struggle with asbestosis. He gave every last bit, fighting to the end. Everyone that was ever touched by Don knew this is what he would have done, thinking of everyone else first and giving love every step of the way. Tough and proud, gentle, wise and kind. Don is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carolyn Theroux; daughter, Pamela Theroux Hanief (Spencer); son, Michael Theroux (Joyce Davis); brother, Harry Theroux (Nadine); grandchildren, Matthew and Lauren Hanief, and Ryan Theroux; and great grandchildren, Emalie and Milla Theroux. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 10 am at Whites Funeral Home, 9903 E. Flower St, Bellflower with Chapel viewing the prior evening, Wedndesday, August 27 from 4-8 pm.
